Habitat:
The habitat on this ranch is extremely diverse and features both creek bottom habitat as well as typical South Texas brush habitat. The creek bottom habitat consists of Elm, Hackberry and, Bull Mesquite Trees while the brush habitat consists of Guajilla, Blackbrush, Granjeno, Texas Kidneywood and Palo Verde Trees. Palo Verde Trees and Guajilla are well known for their excellent protein content. The brush habitat on this ranch is extremely diverse which is ideal when trying to grow big deer. It would be extremely hard to find a ranch this size with the brush diversity of this one.
