Location. Down a lightly traveled paved farm to market road, in really pretty oak-covered country, lies this select ranch property. It is on FM 2873 northwest of Menard in Menard County.
Terrain. The general terrain in the area and on this place is hilly. It is the western Hill Country, and the predominant tree cover is live oak. There is no known oak wilt in the area. And there are very few if any cedar trees on the place. The grass cover here is exceptionally thick and hearty, making for eye-appealing countryside. The soil is calcareous and is rocky on upland sites.
