The Gabe Road Tract is located at the end of Gabe Road, about 0.4 miles East of Highway 425. Gabe Road is a public parish road with available utilities for possible development or home place. The Gabe Road Tract primarily consists of a 1 year old (2008) pine plantation, with a mixed hardwood stream management zone through the southeast corner of the property. The pine plantation was chemically site prepared in the summer of 2007 and planted in February of 2008 with International Paper 2nd Gen Elite Seedlings. The tract is a generally flat with Guyton and Libuse silt loam soils, which present good site productivity for pine timber growth.
