Pockets of thick cedars line a deep draw that flows down to the river bottoms, these pockets are great additional bedding and thermal cover. The mature oaks will produce quality mast crop throughout the fall. These timbered ridges are a favorite during the rut for the bucks in the river bottoms, some of my most memorable hunts have happened in areas just like the one on this farm. A current wind lease on the farm gives the new owner some money back, no current windmills are in place in this area.
