The Maxeys Timber Tract is a great timber investment and hunting tract that is conveniently located 20 miles from each of Athens, Watkinsville and Greensboro. Planted pines that have been thinned one time cover the majority of the tract with the remainder being mature hardwoods and food plots. The tract is very private as it fronts on a dead-end dirt road that has no residences. After you enter the tract through one of two gates, you will drive on an established road that runs all the way to the south end of the property. The hardwood areas border the eastern and western sides of the property and provide great hunting and viewing opportunities.
