General Statements: Perry is located on I-35 in north central Oklahoma, about an hour north of the Oklahoma City area, in a climate well-suited for cattle ranching and for winter wheat pasture for livestock. Livestock auction markets in this area are impressively strong in the stocker/feeder cattle and cow/calf industry.
