Panola County Ranch has a mixture of upland and bottomland soils which are predominately sandy loam. The topography is gently sloping with a combination of upland improved pastureland and bottomland native grasses for grazing. The view upon entry to the ranch offers a perfect picture of the bottomland areas including the duck slough.
