There is an ample amount of wild life in the area. Whitetail deer, black bear and turkey are the main hunts in the area. There are hogs that can be taken anytime of the year.
It's a large pine and oak forest with some hickory and lots of dogwood.
Located on K-Trail on the most northerly ridge of the Kiamichi Mountains, 1/2 mile west of Indian Highway and only 12 miles south of Talihina, OK. Honobia, OK is just 12 miles also. Both spots have great cafes and friendly folks that will talk about their area.
3 hours to Dallas, 3 hours to Tulsa, 1 1/2 hours to Fort Smith, 50 minutes to Wal-mart East, West or South.
