CalTrans is in the process of a $30,000,000 project to rebuild Highway 58 through the Kramer Junction area, which will expand the highway from a two lane surface highway to a four lane expressway with a new overpass and interchange at the Interstate 395 junction (construction planned for 2019). Interstate 395 is a major connector highway running from Adelanto in the south, north through Kramer Juction to Ridgecrest, Mammoth, Reno, Oregon, and Washington, all the way to the Canadian border. This property lies about 0.5 miles from the junction of these two very important roadways, and has excellent potential as traffic and development increases in Kramer Junction/Boron over time.
