The soil consists of fertile creek bottom varieties with an above-average NCCPI average rating of 62.8. The primary soil type is Class 1 Brewer Silty Clay Loam (70%), and the remainder is made up of Class 2 Milan Loam (13%) and Elandco Silty Clay Loam (11%). The farm lies nicely and has around 28 +/- feet of elevation change throughout the property. Historically, the farm has grown a crop rotation that includes corn, soybeans, wheat, and sorghum.
