Holman Creek Woods
Holman Creek Woods are located in Terrell County just ten minutes outside of Dawson, Georgia. Terrell County is situated in southwest Georgia and right in the middle of the Peanut Belt. Additionally, this area is in the heart of the Apalachicola-Chattahootchee-Flint River Basin.
As a prominent feature of this watershed the Ichawaynochaway Creek flows through western Terrell County and right through the southwest quadrant of these woods. The creek name is derived from the areas original inhabitants the Muskogee Indians.
With pine timber and hardwoods this property is ideal for a recreational or a residential tract. The northwest corner of the woods contains a ten acre pine timber stand. This stand of trees has been through a first thinning and second.
