Location: The Nelson Road Tract is located approximately seven (7) miles southwest of Strong, and is described as the NE of SW, Section 17, Township 19 South, Range 13 West, containing 40 acres, more or less, Union County, Arkansas.
Tract Description: Tract is former Plum Creek property with one-quarter () mile frontage on gravel Nelson Road. Timber consists of 37 acres of 2011 pine plantation, which was planted with 2nd generation Arborgen loblolly pines, which are 7'-12' tall and have an average 2"-3" dbh. Method of Sale: The tract will be sold on the basis of lump sum sealed bids. Bids will be opened at the Kingwood Forestry office at 3:00 P.M., Friday, December 18, 2015, at #4 Executive Circle, Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Mailed offers should be addressed to Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc., P.O. Box 65, Arkadelphia, AR 71923 with "Nelson Road Land Sale" clearly marked in the lower left corner of the envelope to protect security of the offer. An offer form is attached. On mailed offers please call our office prior to bid opening to confirm receipt of offer. Buyers submitting offers are welcome to attend the bid opening. Offers may be delivered by fax to 8702463341. All faxed offers will be immediately acknowledged. Please await confirmation that your faxed offer has been received. No verbal telephone offers will be accepted. Anyone submitting an offer for the purchase of the property will be provided with a summary of bid results.

From the junction of Highway 82 and Hillsboro Road, go south on Hillsboro Road 5.3 miles to junction of Hibanks Road (with deer camps on right), then continue south for one-half () mile where a Kingwood sign will direct you left (east) through an open gate. Continue east for one (1) mile then veer right at another intersection. Drive east for 0.8 of a mile to Nelson Road where pink KFS flagging is found and turn left (north). Continue north for 0.6 mile to Nelson Road Tract (marked with signs).
