Crazy Horse Recreational Park is one of the largest and most profitable paddle sport outfitters in Tennessee. Its located on the western edge of the banks of the Buffalo River in Waynesboro, TN 38485. The Buffalo River meanders 125 miles through the southern and western portions of the region making it the longest un-dammed river in Middle Tennessee. Recognized for its portions of scenic beauty, clean emerald-green waters with rock bluffs, waterfalls, caves, and fishing opportunities. As outdoor enthusiasts become increasingly popular, it is visited by thousands of tourists each year. Crazy Horse is located on the most desirable section of the river for camping, canoeing, and kayaking. Many locals love to float and fish the river or just bring their kids to swim. Crazy Horse was established in 1980. It is opened seasonally April through October. Purchased by its current owner in 1992. It has been owned and operated by the same family for 31 years. During this time, owners have purchased the other local small canoe rentals in the area, leaving very little competition or capability of starting up new canoe rental companies. Having over 1450 canoes and kayaks allows to accommodate any size group. Crazy Horse offers a variety of trips, all of which conveniently starts and finishes at the rental company requiring customers to only have one transport. Along with canoes and kayak rentals they also offer shuttle services for the people who have their own boats. Crazy Horse has the unique advantage of owning its primary access points.

The Buffalo River runs East and West on the subject property and at the end of the river trip, the river turns North, then the river current slows down. The nearest competitor is 40 miles North.
