Sunflowers in the pasture and scattered wheat seed in the fields provide multiple feeding areas. A large springfed tank in the pasture provides a dependable water source for the birds, as well as for livestock. On a good year, you can host twenty or more bird hunters. In addition to dove hunting, there are also hogs and some whitetail deer.
The land is primarily flat, with drainage leading down to the creek. The fences are in good shape, and a large cattle trap is located just off the field. A new cross fence separates the pasture from the cultivation. Public road frontage is on the north side for access, and it is just 1.25 miles off of pavement.
