This property lies in northeast Wilcox County about 2 miles east of the historic town of Furman. It features approximately 1/2 mile of frontage on Cedar Creek, a major stream with very good fishing. Most of the timber was harvested in late 2010 and the clearcut area has not been reforested. As noted in the attached 2011aerial photograph, there areabout 15 acres of hardwood timber remaining along the creek which provides cover and food for deer and turkey. This is an excellent small hunting tract which can provide future timber income.
Please note that the access road to this tract, if sold to anyone other than the owner to the north, will be along the alternate route shown. Access is controlled by a locked gate on Highway 63.
