It runs north and south and access points on both the east and west will allow you to hunt the creek no matter the wind direction. There is no doubt catching November crusing bucks will be a breeze here on this property. With good neighboring properies, the bucks will be using your farm all season long.
This area of Woodson County doesn't have the turkey numbers it did several year ago, but with a little TLC, there is no doubt in my mind you could still catch a love sick tom come this spring. I have seen several birds in this area and it wouldn't take a lot to make this acreage attractive the kings of spring!
I kicked up a rabbit walking the property and there is no doubt there is at least of covey of quail calling this farm home. This area has long been know for it's prairie grass and quail hunting. There is no doubt this parcel would be no exception.
At last, even though this is only 37 acres, I think you could also turn about 10 acres of it to tillable, if so desired. It has above average Woodson County dirt and would just take a little work to get the ground the way you needed it. The tillable acreage could provide a little income or a little more of that well needed to food to keep your farm the whitetail destination of the area.
