Columbus River Ranch

Here is a property that is almost a wilderness, yet less than a one hour drive from Houston. It lies in an area that has traditionally produced some of the largest bucks taken in Colorado County. Nearby ranches have won several big buck contests. The ranch is well rested regarding deer hunting. The family has not leased deer hunting rights in over 40 years and the family themselves do not hunt.

This ranch is estimated 85% wooded. The upland areas are mostly sandy soils with the predominate tree being live oak. Old, moss draped giants.
