Wood Hills section with cabin
If you're looking for a place to retreat to where peace and quiet is almost guaranteed then check this one out! If you're looking for something year around then this one may be stretching it as we do get snow in the winter months and there are miles of dirt and gravel road that is not maintained leading to it.
The section is in the South end of the Wood Hills and has a South facing slope in general particularly at the cabin site which is near the center of the section. The property has several mountain tops on it and canyons as well. The trees are Pinyon Pine, Utah Juniper and Mountain Mahogany with a few other bushes as well. The Pinyon Pine have some with the lower branches trimmed for equipment to collect the pinyon nuts. They have had some commercial gathering of pinyon nuts in the past. The section is partially fenced mainly on the South side where entry is made.

The cabin is made up of three container units with the area between two containers framed in for a living room and kitchen and the containers used for bedrooms. The third container is separated from the cabin unit and thus provides cover for storing equipment, propane tanks, propane refrigerator, and barbecue. The third container provides storage for lot's of things you will need to live safely in the country. When not occupied the container doors are locked for added security. When open they had patio doors for lots of light. The kitchen/living room has a wood stove for heat in cooler months and a propane cook stove with oven. There is an out house for bathroom purposes and a seperate shower house with it's quick propane heater for bathing.
There is a rock fire pit and lots of fire wood. There are two additional 3 sided sheds one by the cabin used for additonal equipment storage and the other by the entry and it was used for storing and sorting pine nuts. It also has a 1500 gallon water storage tank for additional water storage.
The water system for the cabin is made up of 3 1500 gallon tanks fed from the roof.
