From Oelwein, Iowa: Head south out of town on Highway 150. Travel for 1.50 miles and turn right (west) onto 100th Street. Travel for 0.75 miles and turn right (north) onto Q Avenue. Travel for 0.25 miles. Tract 3 will be located on the east side of the road, Tract 2 will be on the west side of the road. Travel for an additional 0.5 miles north, and Tract 1 will be on the west side of the road. Look for the Peoples Company signs.

During and after going through the Business Administration program at the University of Northern Iowa, he worked for a large farming operator and equipment dealer in Northeast Iowa, where he experienced a broad knowledge of the day to day activities in the field.
