A small lake fed by Antelope Creek provides fishing just below the cabin. A second, more primitive cabin, which was built in the 1800s, rests above a five acre mountain lake on the other side of the ranch. At this site there are unbelievable views of Wolford Mountain Reservoir and the surrounding peaks. Water and septic have been brought to this location and a prime building site has been prepared.
A natural funnel for wildlife moving seasonally between elevations, and prime habitat for resident wildlife populations the ranch offers all a western hunter could ask for! Varied terrain and tremendous topography create a hunting experience that is much larger than most properties this size. Trophy Mule deer in excess of 200 inches have been managed for and harvested by the current ownership. Elk, moose, antelope, bear, mountain lion and various fowl are seen daily from the cabin and around the ranch. In addition, the well maintained rangeland and water sources will support 300 AU of cattle during the grazing season. An additional BLM grazing lease will be transferred with the sale of the property.
