This 2,355 acre seasonal access ranch is surrounded by BLM on three sides, giving you direct access to thousands of acres of public lands for horseback riding, hiking, ATV riding, camping, and of course, big game hunting.

With deep sage draws, tall pines and spruce, and numerous water sources, Unit 67 Ranch can hold resident elk, deer, and antelope herds year-round as the season's progress; the hunting only gets better when the ranch becomes a big winter range. Stands of aspen, cottonwoods, and evergreens are scattered around the property, offering ample cover. As fall approaches, more animals are pushed into the ranch, creating a unique wildlife sanctuary.
Although there are no structures on the ranch, there are sound road systems throughout the property, making getting around relatively easy. There is also a new domestic well that has been drilled to provide water to domestic livestock. There is a conservation easement that allows for six 35-acre home sites to be sold off individually.
As a bonus, this property is less the 20 minutes east of Gunnison, CO, which has a regional airport, hospital, grocery stores, and is home to Western Colorado University. The historic ski town of Crested Butte is 1 hour to the north and is one of the most charming ski towns in the west. Besides fantastic skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and golf, Crested Butte is known as the wildflower capital of Colorado. The ranch is about 3 hours west of Denver, 2.5 hours west of Colorado Springs, and 2.5 hours southwest of Grand Junction. There is daily jet service at Gunnison Regional Airport (20 minutes away), and Montrose Regional Airport (1.25 hours away).
