Welcome to the Longhorn Arena and event center located in the heart of cattle country just 2 miles off exit 49 off Interstate 44 between Springfield and Joplin and a short 3.5 hours from Oklahoma City. The main 135' x 250' indoor arena is currently home too equestrian and rodeo events year-round. The arena offers a full roping box with chute and concrete return alley, 3 Rough stock bucking chutes, automated ventilation including a 24' Hunter industrial gearless fan, new sound system with speakers around arena, restaurant, event barn and parking lots. The 2800' balcony at the west end of arena features a gift shop area, timer and judges' office and plenty of room for spectator viewing. The south side of the arena features open staging area with multiple roll-up door in to the event stall barn. On the North side are more spectator bleachers and a judging stand with a kid's playground with his/her restrooms. The Longhorn Cafe' is located inside the arena and features 2250' of dining space for spectators to eat and drink and not miss out on the action. The Cafe' is serviced by a large kitchen with commercial appliances. The arena also has a studio apartment with dedicated exit to the outside and kitchen. Adjoining the arena is a 70' by 200' open sided stall barn with water and electric and contains 68 12' box stalls with multiple entrances to the arena. The large front parking area features 30 RV hook-ups for overnight campers. The training barn is located south of the Arena and has 48 stalls on the east side and 38 stalls on the west side with an 80' x 120' warm up indoor arena with Horseshoeing area, heated wash rack, multiple tack and feed room and living quarters.
