LOCATION: Located in LeFlore County, Southeast Oklahoma. Less than 4 hours From Dallas, 2 hours from Tulsa, and less than an hour drive from Ft. Smith, Ark.. Approximately 13 miles West of Shady Point, and 7 miles from either Bokoshe or McCurtain, all small communities just north of Poteau. Immediate area is known as Dog Creek, a stop on the old Butterfield stagecoach route. This part of the state is the home of numerous lakes including Wister, Kerr, Cedar, Eufaula, Tenkiller and Broken Bow.
