This farm will be auctioned on March 8th at 10:00 am at the Evergreen FS Auditorium in Bloomington, IL. The land is located between Towanda & Lexington. It will be sold in three tracts. Tract #1 is 20.09+/- total acres of which ~18 acres are tillable. Ipava & Rozetta silt loams and Sable silty clay loam are the primary soils on Tract #1. The average soil productivity index is 127. This tract is improved with a large barn and a small amount of timber. Tract #2 is 120.38+/- acres of prime cropland along Interstate 55. This tract has 118.6 tillable acres with a soil productivity index of 139. The primary soils on Tract #2 are Ipava & Osco silt loams and Sable silty clay loam. Tract #3 is 31.57 acres of pasture with mature oak trees and dissected by Money Creek. Both cropland tracts have good soil fertility levels. From Chicago drive south on Interstate 55 to Exit 171 at Towanda, Illinois (just northeast of Bloomington). Go north 1.25 mi. to Township Road 2100N. Turn east (right) and go 3/4 mile to a T Intersection. If you go left (north) 1/4 mile you will be at the south end of Tract 1. If you go right 1/2 mile you will be at the end of a lane, marked by our signs that leads you back to Tracts #2 & #3.
From Bloomington, IL go north on Interstate 55 to Exit 171 at Towanda and follow the same directions listed above.
