The Odessa Meyer Trust Farm is located 7.5 miles east of LeRoy, IL or 7.5 miles north of Farmer City, IL or 20 miles southeast of Bloomington, IL or 27 miles northwest of Champaign, IL. The farm is 97.4% tillable and comprised mainly of Ipava silt loam, Osco silt loam, and Sable silty clay loam soil types carrying a soil productivity index rating of 140.9. There are no improvements on the farm and open tenancy for the 2022 crop year. There has been 225#MAP & 225#Potash applied per acre to the north part of the farm and limestone VRT applied to the entire farm over the past two years. There will be no reimbursement due for this added benefit. Tillage has been performed as well across the farm. The live, in-person auction will be held at 2:00 PM March 3, 2022, at the Evergreen FS Auditorium located at 402 North Hershey Road Bloomington, IL 61704. Virtual online bidding will be offered to those wishing to bid remotely.
Remote bidding for qualified bidders via our online bidding platform can be reached at our website a few days prior to auction, or through the First Mid Ag App on your mobile device through the Apple or Google Play app stores. From Champaign, Illinois, at the Interstate 57 & 74 intersection, Go northwest of Interstate 74 for 12.4 miles. Take Exit 166 toward Mansfield Keep right at the fork and merge onto County Hwy 2/N 1300 East Rd
Continue to follow County Hwy 2 for 4.2 miles. Continue onto N 4000 East Rd. 2.0 miles. Turn left onto US Hwy 136 West 8.0 miles. Turn right onto N 3200 East Rd. go 1.8 miles to 3530 N 3200 East Rd. Farm is on the right side of the road and marked with our signs, beginning at the intersection of 325N& 3200E.
From the Central IL Regional Airport at Bloomington, go east on IL Route 9 to Towanda/Barnes Road, turn south (right) and go to US-150 E (at Freedom Gas station), turn left and take US 150 to LeRoy (8.8 mi). Turn left on West Street (by old Caseys) and go north 4 blocks to School Street. Turn right and head east eventually on E 500 North Rd to N 3200 East Rd/County Rd 3200 E in West Township (5.4 mi)
Turn right onto N 3200 East Rd/County Rd 3200 E and go 1.3 miles south (through Sabina) to 3530 N 3200 East Rd. Farm is on the east (left side of the road).
