All of the tree fruit planted is traditionally farmed with no organic varieties. Varieties include Honeycrisp (47ac), Envy (14 ac), Jazz (57 ac), and Gala (13 ac). The majority of the plantings are on vertical trellis. There is also 95 acres of bare land ready for orchard development.
Water comes from three different sources depending on the orchard location. These include the Whitestone Reclamation District, Oroville-Tonasket Irrigation District, and water rights on Palmer Lake. All orchards are irrigated by micro sprinklers. Due to the northern location, cooling is not required for the orchards. In order to support labor for the orchard operation, there are currently 36 permitted H2A beds located on one of the orchards. The facility also includes a large bathroom building and kitchen facility.
In addition to the orchards, the seller has a CA facility in Tonasket that can be added to the orchard purchase. The facility is located in downtown Tonasket, WA. Fruit bins to support the farming operation are also available for purchase.
