This is a choice irrigated farm in east central Parmer County, Texas which has currently has in place a dairy permit for 5000 head (3600 milking), located in the same general area of three large, new dairies. The farm has four irrigation wills with turbine pumps powered by two 125 hp electric motors, one 100 hp electric motor and one 413 Chrysler well engine on natural gas, four 1/4 mile pivot sprinklers (two 1994 to 200 T&L's and two older model Zimmatic's), two booster pumps to pressure the two east sprinklers and one domestic well with submersible electric motor, pump, and control panel. The east 1/2 of the section is fenced with barbed wire and steel posts with steel gates. The farm operator estimates that the SW sprinkler is nozzled for approx. 750 GPM, the NW at approx. 650 GPM and the two east sprinklers at approx. 550 to 600 GPM.
