Wildlife, hunting and fishing opportunities abound. Deer and turkey being prevalent game species in the area, but there are countless other wildlife species to watch and enjoy. Lake Greeson is a Corps of Engineers lake and the Narrows Dam is a hydro-electric power plant with a cold water release to the ‘Little Mo’ which provides excellent habitat for trout. The Arkansas Game & Fish stocks some 80,000-90,000 rainbow trout to the ‘Little Mo’ both up-stream and down-stream from the property. Fishing the Little Mo offers a great break, with quiet waters and the occasional bald eagle sharing in the fish.
Lake Greeson is located just north of the property, with a marina and boat ramp within 10 miles. Several houses are located adjacent to the property, which have great views across scenic Lake Greeson, which is nestled in the canyons of the Ouachita Mountains. A Corps of Engineers lake, Lake Greeson offers a scenic recreation opportunity which is void of development, and offers only the natural beauty of what the mountains of south Arkansas have to offer.
