Egeria Creek Ranch

Egeria Creek Ranch consists of one of the largest single blocks of senior and privately owned water rights in the Colorado River and Yampa River basins. Well over 1,000 acres of the ranch are comprised of irrigated hay meadows with the balance in sub-irrigated pasture, dryland grazing and wetlands. Almost all of the rights are senior to both the 1902 Shoshone Water Plant priority and the 1922 Colorado River Compact allowing for a very reliable water supply. Extensive fishery improvements have been made to a portion of Egeria Creek and there is potential to improve 7 additional miles of the creek.
