Very private and scenic with rolling hills and nice valley areas best describes this beautiful ranch. County Road 224 borders the ranch on the west side where it gently slopes downward into a level valley then rises quickly to its highest elevation of about 1358 feet, then sloping downward again to a secluded seasonal creek bottom. The tree and brush cover consists of Mesquite, Elm, Post Oak and Bee Brush. There is one small earthen tank (pond) and the creek holds water in holes during rainy periods.
The soils are primarily sandy clay loam and there are sandstone outcroppings on the hilly areas. There is small field about 3 acres in size that is ideal for planting a game food plot. The hunting is excellent and the wildlife includes Whitetail deer, turkeys, quail, dove, feral hogs and other species that are native to the Central Texas area.

The ranch has a new fence on the west side and a good older fence on the east side. The north and south sides are unfenced and since this is part of a larger ranch, more acreage can be purchased. The Rural Coop Water line runs along the west side of the ranch and can be accessed for an additional water source. Electrical service is also readily available near the southwest part of the ranch.
There are several beautiful building sites throughout the ranch. The hardest decision will be where you want to build. This is one of the last “dark sky” areas in the state and the big night sky is spectacular and full of sparkling stars. For an all-around hunting, livestock and general purpose recreational ranch, you can’t go wrong with this one!
