Five Polaris Rangers await homeowners and their guests to rev them up and explore the 25-plus miles of trails meandering through the property. If you prefer a slower, more natural, approach to the backcountry, the ranch offers a string of about 15 horses to ride to your destinations. In the winter, the ranch grooms approximately 20 miles of snowmobile and cross-country trails, and 10 Artic Cat snowmobiles stand ready to motor you to all the backcountry cabins, and other aspects of the ranch.
A 6,000-square-foot lodge with 4 suites, plus an additional 4 suites in the log guesthouse, welcome homeowners and their family and friends for overnight retreats. Each year, homeowners receive 55 suite nights to enjoy in either the lodge or guesthouse. You dont even have to worry about cooking, as the ranch chef prepares specialty meals, if you choose.
If you prefer to rough it, or just want a sheltered place to eat lunch on a daytrip, five backcountry cabins are situated in the back acres of Shadow Ranch. Each cabin sleeps 7 and includes a gas cook stove and a wood-burning stove for winter months. In addition to your 55 luxury suite nights, homeowners receive 45 cabin nights annually, for a total of 100 nights per year!
One of the unique things about Shadow Creek Ranch is that once you are an owner, you never have to build on your lot. Some homeowners prefer to use their suite nights and cabin nights without taking on the burden of building a house. Having said that, 16 houses are completed.
Each person that purchases a lot at Shadow Creek Ranch enjoys over 5,600 acres of some of the very finest, unspoiled property in Colorado without ever worrying about the day-to-day operations of the ranch; our staff takes care of everything, from cooking to stocking your home with groceries and picking you up at the airport, if youd like. The ability to reap the benefits of a working cattle ranch and Shadow Creeks many amenities without taking on the maintenance is one of the main draws of the ranch.
Because Shadow Creek is a working cattle ranch, it allows homeowners opportunities to ride on cattle drives with the cowboys. The ranch also has an Equestrian Center, complete with 4 indoor stalls, an indoor arena, an outdoor arena and a hay barn.
