First harvest completed in 2024, production was 1,515 inshell pounds per acre. Broker expects this young orchard to be a strong producer.
Prunes: 79 acres of older French prunes. Block C was planted in 2008, Block D was planted in 1990 and Block E was planted in 2008. Tree spacing is 11 feet by 22 feet, 180 trees per acre. These trees are flood irrigated. This Class One soil will redevelop nicely to most any crop typical to Tehama County.
