We are in the process of planting Bermuda grass. We have completed all clearing activities which included shearing, raking, pilling and burning the trees/debris. We then re-pilled and burned it again. Currently we are disking all the conversion acres and will have it all rolled and planted by mid November 2014. We expect to have roughly 1700 converted pastureland acres. There are +/-640 acres in the back of the tract (south end) which offer excellent hunting opportunities along with 60+/- acres of merchantable pine plantation. This area has purposefully been left to naturally regenerate and has about 3 years of natural re-growth. The deer habitat is outstanding and hunter success is very high.
