Hilltop Farm is 466 acres +/- of hunting land for sale in north Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. The timber consists of varying ages of hardwoods and pine timber. The timber stands are on a rotational burn schedule to create forage for the turkey and deer. There are many mast bearing trees around the property to provide acorns and nuts. Fruit trees have been planted strategically throughout the property. There are numerous food plots that are planted for summer and winter forage. The owners are so meticulous about their management, that they have bee hives on the food plots to help pollinate the fruit trees and crops. (The bee hives will not convey in the sale.) Several small plots are planted with chufa for the turkeys. There were several areas, 4-5 acres in size, strategically spaced throughout the property where the timber was clear cut to provide bedding cover and browse for the wildlife.
