Tract 5 is a "north 40", being 40.69 acres with a dwelling, 2 car garage and farm buildings. There are approximately 80.6 cropland acres in Tract 4 and 33.3 cropland acres in Tract 5. Mainly Class A Sable, Ipava and Catlin soils. Tract 4 has a soil PI of 139.1, while Tract 5 has a soil PI of 137.6. But the best part about these farms is the yield history. In 2012 - the middle of a drought - this farm made 208.5 bushels per acre of corn and 63.8 bushels per acre of soybeans! The 5 year average is 203 and 58.5 - phenomenal production. Get to Bloomington, Illinois from Chicago or St. Louis via Interstate 55. From Indianapolis, take I-74. From Bloomington, take IL Route 9 east to Towanda/Barnes Road (on the northeast corner of the Central IL Regional Airport), go north on Towanda/Barnes Road 4 miles to "Northtown Road" - 1800N and turn east (right). Go 1.5 miles and the farm starts on the south side of the road. Turn right (south) on 2075E and you will be driving along Tract 5 first, and then Tract 4 on the right(west) side. When the road turns to the east, you have come to the end of the farm.
